Healthy, Safety, and Security
We take every precaution to ensure that your child is safe with us.
We Are Serious About the Health and Safety of Your Children and Our Staff
Our school adheres to health, safety, and disinfection protocols derived from guidelines issued by the CDC, as well as state and local departments of health.

Cleaning and Hygiene Practices
-
Regular cleaning and disinfection protocols are completed daily to maintain a clean environment and reduce the spread of germs and viruses. This includes cleaning toys, surfaces, and frequently touched areas.

-
Teachers role model and encourage children to practice good hygiene habits such as washing hands thoroughly with soap and water, covering coughs and sneezes, and using tissues appropriately.

-
Health screenings are conducted upon arrival and throughout the day. Children who appear unwell will be sent home to prevent the spread of illness to others.

-
Illness policies are fully enforced to prevent the spread of contagious illnesses among children and staff.

-
Our staff receives training in health and safety practices, including recognizing symptoms of illness and implementing infection control measures.

Security Cameras & Additional Safety Measures
-
Our school is always locked. The front door is secured with electronic keypad entry, so only authorized staff and families may enter. Visitors must ring our video doorbell and present a valid ID to enter our building.

-
Security cameras are in all classrooms, the foyer, and around the exterior of the building. These cameras are closely monitored by management and can be viewed by families at any time in the office.

-
Children are never left unattended for any reason.

-
Our playground is fenced with 6 foot privacy fencing and secured with child proof gates to ensure your child can play outdoors safely. All playground equipment is developmentally appropriate and inspected daily. Playsafer elevated rubber playground tiles cover our entire playground to protect children from falls. A large portion of our playground is covered to help limit children's exposure to the sun.

-
Our school has smoke detectors and fire extinguishers, and both are regularly inspected. Our smoke detectors, heat, water, and CO2 detectors are monitored and immediately alert management if there is an issue.

-
Our building is monitored with a security system that allows us to call Police, Fire or EMS with the push of a button.

-
All staff are certified in pediatric first aid and CPR.

-
All staff and volunteers must be cleared to work in child care by passing an enhanced criminal history background check before working with children.

Stronger Immune System

Overall, the combination of increased immunity, hygiene practices and socialization acquired through daycare attendance can help reduce the likelihood of children getting sick when they transition to elementary school.
